Made up of a whole lot of whimsy, slight snark and some good-ole goofiness, E.A.T. Gifts is chock full of charm.
As the brainchild of Kim Staller, E.A.T. Gifts first opened its doors in 1985 next to Eli Zabar’s iconic Madison Avenue cafe and has been solving gift problems and entertaining shoppers of all ages and inclinations ever since. Even after 35 years, Kim remains on the hunt for the next whimsical widget, continuously discovering new merchandise, meeting with her vendors, deep-diving into catalogues and attending shows.

Both the backbone and face (and everything in between) of the store, Sean Sova is E.A.T. Gifts’ own personal gift guru and window wizard. You’ll find him answering the phone with a melodious “Hello-y, Sean speaking,” in the midst of whipping up some wickedly wrapped baskets or chitchatting with customers.
